Job Description:

We’re seeking a driven and proactive Business Development Manager to join our growing team, specialising in digital marketing and software solutions for the Built Environment sector. You’ll play a key role in driving revenue, developing client relationships, and identifying new opportunities across a range of businesses in construction, groundworks, plant hire, and beyond.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales, a strong understanding of digital solutions, and the confidence to build rapport and close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Proven sales experience, ideally in digital marketing, software, or tech services

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills

  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to manage your own workload

  • Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools

  • Ability to articulate the value of digital marketing and technology solutions clearly

  • Experience or knowledge of the Built Environment sector is a strong advantage

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within digital marketing, software solutions, or technology services

  • Strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs

  • Solid understanding of the sales cycle, from lead generation to closing

  • Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to manage pipelines and reporting

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex solutions clearly and confidently

  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, web design) is highly desirable

  • Experience working with clients in the Built Environment sector (e.g., construction, plant hire, groundworks) is a strong advantage

  • A relevant degree (e.g., Business, Marketing, Communications) is preferred but not essential with the right experience

  • Familiarity with The Built Environment sector (construction, architecture, real estate, or engineering) is advantageous.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, ensuring effective client engagement and long-term partnerships.
  • In-depth understanding of SEO, paid media (PPC), social media strategies, content marketing, and data analytics tools.
  • A strong track record of developing client strategies, executing marketing initiatives, and contributing to business growth.
  • Highly skilled in communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution, ensuring smooth collaboration with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple client accounts and competing priorities effectively.
